With bathing suit season approaching, we are starting to pull out all the stops with our workouts and eating plans. We are huge skeptics when it comes to cleanses, diets, detoxes, and anything ‘diet trendy’ at LLScene. So, before you hit the ‘X’ and think this is all BS, listen! Like us, Lindsey’s mom, Fancy Pants Nance hates fad diets, so when she introduced us to the ‘Flat Tummy Water’ last week, we knew this was for real.
Not only is this drink effective, but it also tastes delicious, which we all know is pretty hard to come by when it comes to anything related to weight loss. This recipe provides pure hydration, while flushing out toxins, and keeping you full.
Being the mother of a PR guru, Nancy was hell bent on spreading the word and changing peoples lives with this amazing drink. She has all of the women at work sipping this refreshing water and swearing by it with their immediate results. That being said, we wouldn't be LLScene if we didn't shout about this from the rooftops too!
Lets take a look at the ingredients!
In a BPA-free infuser, add the following:
1 sliced cucumber
1 sliced lemon
1 teaspoon of grated ginger
10-12 mint leaves
6 cups of filtered water
Let the mixture infuse all night and finish it the next day. Warning: You will have to pee at least 2 times per glass. low and behold, we saw immediate results in 2 days...seriously! Mark our words, naturally flavored and infused water will be all the rage in 2015, it actually works! Our stomachs have never looked flatter. Give us Flat Tummy Water while we hold our 90 second planks, and we will be ready for the beach with new six pack!
