Wedding Trends of 2015

Have you picked out your 2015 wedding theme yet? No!? Well, you have come to the right place. As we welcome a new year, we also welcome new wedding trends! You will see an abundance of soft whites and blush tones take over the wedding world, accompanied by romantic candles and dim uplighting. We have been telling you all for awhile now, but there is a serious re emergence of gold, not just as an accent color, but as a main color.

You will see an increase of flowers; flower walls (thanks Kimya), flower crowns, flower get the picture. Overall, we expect a lot of romance, fresh flowers, and a refreshing garden feel with touches of luxurious crystals and golds.

With flower walls, comes flower crowns. We are seeing a huge increase in flower crowns and hair jewelry opposed veils. If we have any boho inspired brides this year, this is the look for you. Most florists will be able to create and customize a flower crown with fresh flowers, but we also recommend a local company, Haute Blossom if you're looking to take the afforadble, yet stylish route.

Nails. Such a big part of a decision a bride needs to make on her wedding day. Out with the old and in with the new. One of Lindsey’s biggest regrets was getting a french manicure the day of her wedding. Lilly warned her over and over that she would regret it, and she did. Lindsey HATES french manicures, but felt the pressure because that’s what brides typically have on their nails. Here are some of our favorite nail inspirations for our #SceneGirl brides!

If you haven’t noticed, we love anything gold and sparkly at LLScene, which is why we are obsessed with the fact that 2015 is all about sparkly bridesmaid dresses. Neautral tones are also an LLScene favorite this year.

It’s the year of the blushing bride. It’s officially time to step away from traditional white and ivory and hop into something beautifully blush! Soft pastel pinks have been a popular choice for bridesmaids and theme colors over the past few years, but now it’s time for the bride to take center stage in something modern and perfectly elegant; blush pink!

As much as we love a Pinterest inspired wedding, you will see a lot of brides steering away from the traditional ‘pinteresty’ look. One thing Lindsey did NOT want was a ‘typical pinterest wedding’. It’s very easy to get wrapped up in the wedding world of Pinterest, especially when you have been planning your wedding since you were 5 years old. You don’t want people walking into your wedding saying "yea...I saw that on Pinterest", it can get a little cheesy. Sure it’s GREAT to find inspiration on Pinterest, and we highly recommend you sharing your Pinterest pages with all of the parties involved with planning your wedding, but take a step back and remember who you are, what your style is, and if this look is something that speaks true to your heart. Here are some examples we feel have got to go in 2015.

Whether it’s a color palette, cake, wedding dresses, or bouquets, we have you covered this #WeddingWednesday.
