We love to share our ‘not so secret’ beauty tips and routines, which is why we are spotlighting Nars Cosmetics today. Nars provides a completed, yet fresh look to any facial canvas using their products. Below, we will attempt to educate you on our ‘go to’ Nars products and beauty routine.
We suggest you apply in this order:
Light Optimizing Primer (SPF 15): Primer is probably one of the most important things you can implement into your daily beauty regimen. It is the end all be all to creating your perfect canvas. Nars’ Light Optimizing Primer dramatically extends and transforms the appearance and vibrancy of your makeup. Weightless and oil-free, it minimizes signs of fatigue to leave the skin luminous and revived. This primer may also be worn alone as daily sun protection and/or to create a natural luminous complexion.
Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer (SPF 30): You’re almost bare, but better! We apply this tinted moisturizer 2-3 minutes after our primer. Pure Radiant provides the everyday sun protection having an SPF of 30 so you’re getting an SPF of 45 if you start your routine with Nars’ Light Optimizing Primer. This oil free tinted moisturizer will give you the start to softer, smoother, and brighter looking skin.
Pressed Powder: We understand that every face requires different colors and tones to finalize their look. Nars’ Pressed Powder provides sheer, natural coverage to set makeup, soften color and smooth the skin's texture for an overall radiant complexion.
Bronzer: Laguna is our favorite bronzing powder of all time. Once we discovered the golden shimmer it created, and the all-over warmth and contour it brought to our face, we couldn’t get enough. It is the perfect bronzer for creating or enhancing the look of tanned skin.
Blush: Nars’ Orgasm Blush is by far their most popular and iconic product. This color provides a natural, healthy-looking color that immediately enlivens the complexion.
Lip Gloss: We love the fun and flirty shine that Nars’ Lip Gloss gives. Our favorite color is Turkish Delight, but Nars provides a list of over 20 different color options. We love their lip gloss because of the ultra-smooth application, but especially because of its non-stick capabilities; there is nothing worse than getting your hair stuck in your lip gloss! This lip gloss is so perfect for us because of its everlasting clear shine, and creamy formula.
Semi Matte Lipstick: Looking for something sexy and sultry for those luscious lips? Nars Semi Matte Lipstick gives a modern, semi-matte look that provides a full-bodied, velvety color. This product is famous for its long-lasting full cover finish that comes in high fashion and neutral colors. Nars also has a patented blend of conditioners and antioxidants that hydrate, nourish and protect your lips.
Brushes: Beauty brushes are everything when to comes to the application of makeup. Our favorite bronzer brush is on the pricey side, but worth every penny. The Kabuki Botan Brush has large, dense domed-shaped bristles that are ideal for applying and buffing powders and lending a natural luster to skin. A slanted blush brush is ideal for highlighting cheekbones which is why we love Nars’ Contour Brush. This blush is expertly angled for sculpting and highlighting to define and blend with controlled application.
Nail Polish: We love Nars' Opaque Nail Polish because of its chip-resistant finish. This polish gives an incredible luster and a fresh, fashion-forward accent to any nail look. Their polish also comes in an array of high fashion colors, which, lets be honest, is one of the main reasons we love it so much.
