TBT: The OC

There are many reasons to equally love and hate Throwback Thursday. Today, we love it because we love the OC. Yes, you read that right, the OC with Seth, Summer Ryan, and Marissa. Like every teenager, we were fixated on this show during the most impressionable time of our lives.

Why You Should Watch OC:

1. Remember that shell necklace you wore everyday in 10th grade? That's because Marissa Cooper wore a shell necklace everyday.

2. Remember the time you were lonely at a New Years party, and your date showed up 30 seconds before midnight to kiss you? Of course you don't, you just thought that would happen to you because Seth Cohen did that to Summer Roberts. Oh...and that spiderman kiss...

3. The OC theme song, enough said.

4. Let's be honest, we only remember Marissa dying, her accidental overdose on Spring Break, stealing, drinking, exploring her sexuality, shooting Ryan's brother and OLIVER.

Believe it or not, it wasn't always all about Marissa! There were so many Newport scandals we overlooked. For example, Caleb Nichol's illegitimate daughter who lost her virginity to Ryan Atwood? Kirsten's drinking/ rehab stay? Julie Cooper having an affair with her daughters ex boyfriend before marrying her daughters current boyfriends adopted grandfather?

We're exhausted too.
