We couldn't be happier to introduce our newest client, Wonderland Bridal Couture. LLScene knows first hand how exciting, yet nerve racking it can be when it comes to picking out the perfect wedding dress. Wonderland Bridal is an 'appointment only' boutique, which offers brides an exclusive experience the day they 'say yes to the dress'.
Whether you realize this or not, the setting of a bridal boutique can make or break the bride's decision on a wedding dress. That being said, owners, Patti & Alicyn are very passionate about the relationships they create with their brides. They have every detail covered when it comes to making sure their brides feel like the only ones in the world.
Their goal is to ensure that each of of their brides has their gown fitted properly and that she finds the perfect accessories to accent that gown. All alterations take place on site in the boutique to ensure a perfect fit and proper bustle. Bridesmaids, take it from us, you will be thankful for this one-on-one time when you learn to bustle a dress.
With designers like, Stella York, Enzoani, Sorella Vita, and Erica Koesler our bride's will have no trouble finding 'the one'. We have a very short list of LLScene approved bridal boutiques and Wonderland Bridal Couture passed our test with flying colors.
We sat down to interview owners, Alicyn and Patti. This is what they had to say!
LLScene What made you want to open Wonderland Bridal Couture?
WBC We met at a Mary Kay meeting about two years ago. I was working at a bridal store in Miami with the hopes of owning my own one day. Patti is engaged and fell in love with the process of choosing her own wedding gown. One day Patti and I decided we would open the store together over a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
LLScene Was this the ideal location for you?
WBC Yes. We were actually looking at locations in the area without very much success. Someone recommended this location to us and it was love at first sight! We love that this shopping center caters almost entirely to women.
LLScene What is the best part about what you do?
WBC We get to make women feel beautiful on what could potentially be the best day of their lives.
LLScene How hard was it to pick the designers you were going to carry?
WBC Not hard at all. We knew we wanted to carry a line that was affordable and couture at the same time. After seeing Stella York and their bridesmaid line Sorella Vita at Bridal Market in Atlanta last year, we absolutely fell in love with the gowns. We are also carrying a line called Lu Raquel. This is really exciting for us because with this designer, our brides will have the opportunity to create their dream gown. We are currently the only store in Florida where you can buy a Lu Raquel gown. They are going to debut at New York’s Bridal Fashion Week in October. Our samples will be here in the next few months.
LLScene Any upcoming wedding plans for either of you?
WBC Patti is engaged but has not set a date yet. Her focus right now is on the success of our store.
LLScene What do you see as the future of Wonderland Bridal Couture?
WBC We hope to be the store that every bride thinks of the moment they get engaged. Eventually we would like to open a second location.
