Wedding Wednesday - St. Augustine Bachelorette

We truly appreciate a unique and historical bachelorette location at LLScene. We had the best time celebrating a beautiful bride this weekend in St. Augustine, FL. Today’s post spotlights all of the amazing vendors that helped bring this bridesmaid’s ideas to life!

Our ‘Redneck Wine Glasses’ by EngravingbyT were the perfect addition to our rustic afternoon at St. Augustine’s San Sebastian Winery. You can order these and personally engrave them in any set quantity for your special day.

It may because she’s a fellow Seminole, but we absolutely LOVED working with SweetTeaPapers on our Bachelorette Survival Kits & Pom-fetti room decorations. There is nothing better than an Etsy shop owner who will go above and beyond to enhance your best friend’s special weekend. These garnet & gold poms were the perfect statement piece to complete our vision of the hotel rooms.

These Bachelorette Survival Kits were everything and more that they promised to be. These gable boxes were the perfect size to hold all of the necessities, which were VERY necessary for this bachelorette weekend. Once again SweetTeaPapers didn’t disappoint with her customer service and creativity. She provided us with an arrangement of beautiful FSU themed labels, which were so hard to choose from.

Our flower crowns were provided by another great Etsy shop owner, AnnaLeeDesign. She customized the entire order to ensure that our FSU pride would stay alive. It was the perfect addition to our ‘flower child’ day at the winery.

We are officially 'flashonistas' at LLScene because we can't get enough of Flash Tattoos. Flash tats, as we like to call them, are jewelry inspired temporary tattoos. They gave us the additional game day flare with a pack filled with seminole arrows! They will last about 4-6 days depending on where they are placed and how well you take care of them. To care for your Flash avoid any soap, sunscreen, lotions or oils near or on your tattoo. Each Flash Tattoo collection is unique, includes 3-4 sheets of various metallic designs, and plenty of Flash to share with friends. Get flashy with us!

Sangria? Yes please! We brunched at The Columbia Restaurant, which is America’s oldest restaurant. Upon arrival, they treated us with the utmost class and hospitality. We were told that the Columbia is a ‘must see’ attraction when visiting St. Augustine, and we couldn’t agree more. Try their Sangria, it’s to die for!

Being the true seminole fans we are, we knew that celebrating game day during the bachelorette weekend was a must. The bride’s entourage wore garnet as the bride dressed in gold, which was the perfect way to cheer on our Noles!

Our hotel. Well, how can a history buff with a love for all things haunted not LOVE this hotel? The Casa Monica expressed true regal beauty through its ability to combine legendary past with contemporary pleasures. The hotel staff wouldn’t confirm 100%, but I saw it in their eyes that this historic hotel was indeed haunted. If you’re ever looking to travel to St. Augustine, this is the only hotel to stay at. The Casa Monica is centered in the middle of downtown being walking distance from EVERYTHING.

Our bride-to-be is the ultimate wine connoisseur, so when we discovered a the San Sebastian Winery prior to our trip, we knew this would be a 'must see' destination. The San Sebastian Winery is Florida's second largest winery. We enjoyed a beautiful wine tour decked out in our flower child attire, while drinking out of our famous 'Redneck Wine Glasses'. After the wine tour, we headed up to their beautiful rooftop wine and jazz bar, The Cellar Upstairs. We enjoyed more wine, delicious appetizers, and great live music. It was the perfect way to wrap up an amazing weekend.
