Savor the Avenue and Tastemakers are two of Delray Beach’s most popular culinary adventures, and we couldn’t be happier to kick off Tastemakers with the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) this year. We’ve all heard of pub crawls, but what about taking it to the next level with a restaurant crawl? Join us and 18 of the avenue’s best restaurants Wednesday, August 5th and Thursday, August 6th from 5:30-9:30pm. This is one of our favorite events because it gives restaurants the opportunity to interact with clientele by designing special culinary creations, which are reflective of its chef’s speciality and personality. Each creation is also paired with a unique cocktail, wine or beer, which makes for two happy #SceneGirls!
This 7th annual culinary event is organized by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and the Delray Beach magazine as an "international food event.” To participate, guests need to purchase a "passport”, which is sold for $30 cash with $1 being donated to the Campaign for Grade Level Reading. Your passport come with a special booklet that includes a list and map of the participating restaurants and what each will be serving during the event.
