Let’s be honest, we don’t contribute to charity half as much as we would like to throughout the year. Now that it’s officially October, you’re able to anticipate that there will be one charitable opportunity after the next. We will make sure to update you on as many local events as we can, but make sure to do your research and find an event that speaks near and dear to your heart.
That being said, Lord & Taylor’s corporate non-profit charity shopping day, “Lets Do Something Good Together,” will be held on Saturday, October 3 at the Mizner Park store and will benefit cancer non-profit organizations in the local community, including the American Cancer Society and Gilda’s Club.
Charity Day: Let’s Do Something Good Together is an all-day shopping event that will include a fashion presentation celebrating the spirit and beauty of those who have survived cancer. Additionally, guests will enjoy special discounts, local entertainment, gifts with purchase opportunities, food and beverages from area restaurants and more.
Tickets are $5 with all ticket sales benefitting the participating charities. The ticket entitles its holder to great discounts valid in-store on October 3rd – two 30% off single item coupons, one 20% off store-wide savings pass and 10% off cosmetics and fragrance, a rare promotion.
