Sweater Weather
Sweater weather is in full effect, and there are plenty of ways to implement this look into your everyday personal style. There’s nothing you can’t pair with a sweater dress. It’s a simple look like that can be dressed up or down, with the right accessories and shoes. Faux fur is making a comeback this season, but we’re seeing it more and more as an infinity statement piece than anything else. It’s an added plus that this trend will also keep you warm and stylish at the same time. Coming from a favored fall look, ponchos are an essential piece you will want to keep in your closet as the bitter winter months come upon us. Social lives take over during the holiday season, so it’s important to remain stylish and comfortable. Oversized sweaters paired with high waisted palazzo pants is the perfect transition outfit for the corporate fashionista on the go.

Open yourself up for the perfect combination of sexy and sweet with a solid backless dress, that can be easily be paired with existing items in your closet. Embellished pieces are always a holiday party favorite, but it’s important that these looks are paired tastefully with a solid blouse or blazer. Young “20-30 something” party hosts may want to venture toward something a little more risque, and there is nothing wrong with that. A plunging neckline complemented with a high waisted abstract bottom will make you the talk of the party season.

With a black tie events, you would rather be overdressed than anything at all. Black tie and black tie optional dress codes mean that you should wear a long dress no matter what. Don’t even think twice about it. If an invitation calls for a cocktail dress, an elegant midi dress, or dress over the knee will suffice. That being said, don’t feel the need to wear a black dress to a black tie gala. You will find that most women will opt for the black ball gown, only because it’s slimming. Stand out in a staple burgundy or forest green paired with your favorite coat of the season.
