LLScene's Delray Fashion Week RECAP
Do you want to know why we love going to Delray Fashion Week every year? Aside from the amazing styles that grace the runway, we love it because it promotes LOCAL businesses. After being in business for three fabulous years, there’s nothing we love and appreciate more than local love, and that’s exactly what you get during Delray Fashion Week. Each night is focused around the boutiques in Delray Beach and hosted by the designers and owners of them.
Another reason we love Delray Fashion Week? It’s the “who’s who” amongst local fashion and mom bloggers. We love coming together (and drinking lots of wine) with the local blogger community of Delray and South Florida during these week long events!
There’s nothing we love more than fashion, and absolutely love that we’re able to support local boutiques and designers during Delray Fashion Week. There are so many amazing shopping opportunities right in your backyard, which you may not even know about. Thank goodness for the Delray DDA for producing week long events that bring light to the evolving style opportunities in Downtown Delray.
So, what designers/boutiques caught LLScene’s eye this year? Here are some of our favorites.
Duh, she is an LLScene favorite every year. Former Project Runway contestant, Amanda Perna has become one of our really good friends at this point, so there is no one we love to support more. This year, we had the opportunity to be styled by Amanda herself and wear two of her original designs.
Get ready ladies, because there's a new swimwear brand in Delray, just in time for spring! A lot of you tuned into our live coverage of Delray Fashion Week and kept asking the same thing..."where can I buy those swimsuits?" Well, the answer is The Sandy Shoppe! These suits are tailor made swimwear made for any lifestyle and physique. Whether you live the coastal lifestyle or enjoy the city life, your Sandy Shoppe apparel will reconnect you to the ocean. All of our products are locally sourced and made.
Another LLScene staple. Stroll into LoveRich right off the Ave and you will never want to leave. Owner, Jelena Loveric has the ability to foresee fashion trends before they’re even relevant. If you’re looking to make a statement before anyone else, we highly recommend taking a trip to LoveRich Boutique. You’re welcome.
Boho beauties are always gracing the runway for Roxy Lulu during DBFW. Designer & owner, Jules never disappoints her #SceneGirls with her gypsy inspired collections. Perfect looks for spring afternoons on the Ave.
Another boho classic on the Ave. with chic luxury resort wear clothes, accessories, jewelry and swimwear. Margaux Riviera is a personal favorite of one of our #SceneGirls, Gaby, so it was a no brainer to bring this 9 month pregnant mama-to-be to the Thursday night show to view Margaux Riviera’s newest collection.
Now get off your cute butts and get to Atlantic Ave for some shopping!
