South Florida’s longest culinary event is almost here! Yes, we’re talking about Savor the Avenue in Downtown Delray Beach. You know, the event you always see people posting about on social media every year with the long, lavish tables and state-of-the-art food presentations?
The 11th Annual Savor the Avenue takes over Atlantic Avenue Monday, March 25th, 2019. Over 1,100 guests will dine at 1,320 foot dining tables that spam five blocks along East Atlantic Avenue. In true form, we love supporting anything the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority does, so this is an event we have been attending since we started the blog and will continue to for years to come.
Oh, and shoutout to everyone's favorite Meteorologist, Steve Weagle from WPTV News Channel 5. Lindsey is seen here having a total fan girl moment during Savor the Avenue last year.
There’s nothing we love more than celebrating and promoting the locals of Delray Beach. Proceeds with go toward Healthier Delray Beach, as each reservation includes a $3 contribution to this local non-profit.
Here are some photos from last year!
If you’re interested in attending Savor the Avenue this year, you must make a reservation with the individual restaurant you want to dine at. Make sure to make your reservations ASAP because tables are already filling up quickly. Look for us at the Che! Restaurant table!
