Five At-Home Workouts You Can’t Live Without

Five At-Home Workouts You Can’t Live Without

As we adjust to this temporary “new way of life” it’s no secret that our routine workouts and fitness classes have become comprised as well. We can’t stress how important it is to not lose sight of yourself and your routine as you adjust right now. That’s where we come in! At this point, it seems like we have done every home workout you can possibly think of, so consider us experts in the craft.

Peloton

Five At-Home Workouts You Can’t Live Without

Let’s start with the obvious! We were fans/users of Peloton before quarantine and feel beyond lucky to have it by our sides during the quarantine. If you’re wondering, the hype behind this brand is totally worth it, and you can receive $100 off your purchase of a Peloton bike with our promo code: VB5HZF. Since we have a bike, we’re addicted to their cycling classes, but you don’t need to have a bike to take advantage of their classes at home. They have classes in strength training, pilates, yoga, meditation, stretching, boot camps, guided outdoor running classes, and so much more. They’re also offering the first 90 days (usually 30 days) for free when you sign up! We love these classes because you’re getting access to some of the best fitness instructors in the world and the classes go by really fast. What more could you want?

Get Fit Academy

If you want to support an amazing local fitness center, we highly recommend following @getfitacademyboca or their owner, Brandon @mr_getfit on Instagram. They post live workouts on Instagram every morning that you can participate in or replay and watch at your convenience. The beauty of these workouts is that you’re getting the professional workout experience from your home while modifying by using your own bodyweight if you don’t have weights of your own. Brandon is always giving modifications for those of us who don’t have the necessary equipment right now. These classes are the definition of body goals, especially the booty. You will feel so great after tuning in to one of their classes. Oh, and did we mention they’re free? Also, if you're interested in the workout equipment that they use in those classes and that we have started using, we highly recommend the Whatafit Resistance Bands Set off of Amazon.

Extend Barre

One of our favorite workouts is Barre, and it’s probably the fitness class we miss attending the most. There’s only so much cardio and strength training we can do to our bodies before we start missing those long/lean limbs you can only achieve by taking barre. Luckily, one of our favorite barre classes, Xtend Barre is offering live and on-demand classes. You can start with a 14-day free trial and then if you like it, it’s only $10 a month after that. We can’t tell you how much we miss our Barre classes and this has been a true saving grace right now.

Blogilates

Even in the neverending days of quarantine, you still don’t want a workout that lasts longer than an hour. We discovered Blogilates, a quick arms and abs workout you can complete in 10 minutes or less. These workouts are centered around Pilates, so you will receive the same benefits of lengthening and toning your muscles from home. The instructor guides you through the workouts from home so you feel like you’re getting a one-on-one session with her in the living room without the large price tag. We like this workout for many reasons, but mostly because you know you’re getting a good workout in 10 minutes or less. You can stream these workouts on YouTube.

ClassPass

Five At-Home Workouts You Can’t Live Without

ClassPass is a popular app that lets you explore fitness studios in your city, but have recently adapted to “the times” since going to fitness studios is not a possibility right now. That being said, you can not stream workouts from the app, which is included in your membership. ClassPass offers members video workouts that target different parts of your body, along with barre, dance, and yoga classes from the studios featured on their app. They’re currently offering the first 7 day trial for free.
