This Christmas to New Year transition is always an awkward time of year. You haven’t given all your presents out just yet and you don’t want to take your decorations down yet! We’re here to give you tips on how to gracefully welcome the new year
Our version of “spring cleaning” comes a little early than you would think. We like to feel refreshed and reorganized as the new year comes into play. What better way to welcome a new year? Here are some tips on how you can do the same!
Wrapping Paper & Such...
What to do with all those ribbons, tissue paper and wrapping paper that is left over?! Don't throw them away, save them for next year. We recently purchased this "laundry basket" at our favorite store, HomeGoods and plan on storing our leftovers there. Not only can we keep what we didn't use, we can use it for gift accessories we need throughout the year.
Get Motivated
The new year gives us a fresh start on a lot of things, one of them being the way we tackle our clients and tasks. As you know, there's nothing we love more than buying planners and stationery. Not only do they help you get organized, they also give you a fun reason to stay motivated and focused throughout the year!
Closet Purging
PURGE, PURGE, PURGE! Go through your drawers and closets and get rid of things you no longer wear. If you don't have an excuse to keep a piece of clothing, bag or accessory, PURGE IT! We all need a little extra cash after the holidays, so sell your items to places like Plato's Closet or donate them! You will feel so amazing when you open your closet and see everything neatly organized and in plain sight.
Cleanse the Air!
Depending on the last time you cleaned your closet, you may notice a little bit of a clogged throat or dust in the air. Don't freak out about getting sick, get a diffuser to cleanse your air! We're BIG believers when it comes to essential oils, but won't push it on you like some people you may know and love. No, we're not selling this stuff, so you can trust our unbiased opinion. We have tried a bunch of different diffuser brands and essential oils and Young Living has proven to be our favorite. Cleanse your air, mind, body and soul with their state-of-the-art diffuser and oils. We SWEAR by this stuff! Lemon is our personal favorite oil to diffuse while cleaning!

Now that you’re all organized, it’s time to give your hair, skin and nails a little TLC. With the busy holiday season, our priorities for healthy habits have gone out the window. Our hair has been scorched with ongoing heat and there have been nights we have forgotten to take our makeup off. Ahh! Here are some of our favorite post-holiday beauty habits you should implement into your “new year, new you” frame of mind. We all want to look and feel our best as we welcome the new year!

Want to know what we're wearing this NYE? Well, Lilly will be at her cousin Ali's wedding, so she'll be decked out in a fabulous Wonderland Bridal Couture bridesmaid dress, but Lindsey will be out & about taking up the scene in South Florida dressed head-to-toe in Apricot Lane.
