Too early to start talking about Halloween? Please, you’re lucky it’s taken us this long to write this blog post. If you haven’t already noticed, we’re the type of girls that start planning their Halloween costumes in spring. In fact, we’ve had our costumes for this year planned since November 1st of last year. This is a true statement, so get excited. We tend to become a little “basic” when fall rolls around. Give us alllll the football, pumpkin scents, warm color tones, dark nail polish, and of course HALLOWEEN.
We’ll say this point blank, Halloween night at The Addison in Boca Raton is the only place to be if you’re truly looking to celebrate Halloween to the best of your ability. They pull out ALL the stops, ALL the bells and whistles, and leave NOTHING unturned.
We’re not just saying this because we love the entire team at The Addison, love attending weddings there, and partner with them all the time, but Halloween at The Addison is the REAL DEAL. Last year was our first official year going to Halloween at The Addison and we will never NOT spend Halloween there ever again. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. If that wasn’t enough, Halloween at The Addison was voted by Boca Magazine as the “Event of the Year” as well. Just sayin’....
Now that we have your attention, here’s what they have going on this year. Five Star Diamond Award winning event venue and Boca Raton landmark the Addison is opening its doors to the public on Halloween night for a unique and over-the-top event experience to benefit Slow Burn Theatre Company at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The Addison’s historic property will complement this year’s theme: Halloween at the Addison presents "The Silver Scream"and pay homage to the 1930’s with classic horror icons: Dracula, Frankenstein, the Werewolf of London, and the Mummy. If “scary” isn’t really your thing rest assured, you can dictate just how scared you want to be. The dance floor or open bar is always a “safe place” to be. Here are some pictures from last year to really give you the visual. The theme was American Horror Story!
As always, the party will feature extravagant event production (with a haunted walk-through and themed rooms) sponsored by Daniel Events, live music and entertainment by Custom DJs and Celebrity Entertainment, foodie-approved fare catered by the Addison, and an open bar with specialty craft cocktails. Boca Magazine will be this year’s Exclusive Magazine Sponsor. Don’t be cheap or second guess the pricing, these tickets are worth every last penny you will spend we can GUARANTEE that..

Hey moms heyyyy! Every year, we have a ton of mom friends that are beside themselves that they can't attend Halloween at The Addison, but this year you can(ish)! Something else to note is that The Addison is changing it up and offering early hours for the kiddies! Before the doors open for adults, The Addison will be hosting a family-friendly Kids’ Monster Bash for families of elementary-aged children. This will take place on the property from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, and will feature a not-so-scary dance party, trick-or-treating with special characters, and a kid-approved menu of light bites. Tickets are $20 per child and $10 per accompanying adult. They are very limited and can be purchased at http://addisonhallowen.com/kids.
As two “Halloween-enthusiasts” we highly recommend you take the time to attend Halloween at the Addison presents “The Silver Scream”. When we do Halloween, we do Halloween. If you don't believe us, here is your yearly reminder.
We understand that Halloween falls on a Wednesday, but it’s well-worth the hangover on Thursday and the memories you will have forever. Start planning your costumes now….
