Discover The Palm Beaches Hosts Hundreds for “Super” Co-Branded Event with Lilly Pulitzer and Brightline During Week of Super Bowl LIV Celebrations
When the Super Bowl comes to South Florida you can guarantee an abundance of upscale events to match the hype surrounding the biggest sports weekend of the year. Discover the Palm Beaches (www.ThePalmBeaches.com) certainly didn’t disappoint during their “SUPER” Co-Branded Event with Lilly Pulitzer and Brightline Wednesday, January 29th. We had the honor of attending and being a part of this lavish afternoon which celebrated hundreds of women affiliated with professional sports, fashion, community organizations, and prominent corporations.
The luxurious day included roundtrip transportation from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach aboard the private Lilly Pulitzer Brightline Train which transported NFL executives, wives, girlfriends, partners, and influencers to spotlight the beauty of Palm Beach and all it has to offer. Among the attendees were Ashley Ellis (wife of NFL tight end, Alex Ellis); Colleen Parkey (wife of Cody Parkey, former NFL kicker and 2015 Pro-Bowler); Calli Derby (wife of A.J. Derby, former NFL tight end); and Courtney Aguayo (wife of former NFL kicker, Roberto Aguayo), just to name a few.
Once arriving in Palm Beach we all enjoyed a private brunch at the Colony Hotel as students from Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach entertained us with a special musical performance. In addition to the entertainment, city officials and local female leaders joined Jorge Pesquera, president, and CEO of Discover the Palm Beaches. Some of these prominent men and women included Gail Coniglio, Mayor, Town of Palm Beach; Mary Lou Berger, Palm Beach County Commissioner; Verdenia Baker, Palm Beach County Administrator; Jack Lighton, president and CEO of Loggerhead Marinelife Center; and Jennifer Binstead, regional marketing public relations and influencer marketing, Lilly Pulitzer.
Following the brunch, we headed straight to Worth Avenue for a VIPalm Beach shopping experience at the flagship Lilly Pulitzer store. This was our first time visiting the Lilly Pulitzer in Palm Beach, so it was quite the “Instagrammable” sight to see filled with happy, colorful hues and amazing VIP gift bags.
We even got to spend time with one of our favorite mom bloggers, Michelle Olsen-Rogers of Modern Boca Mom (www.modernbocamom.com).
To add even more to a beautiful afternoon, Lilly Pulitzer brought a charitable vibe to Super Bowl LIV, by matching every dollar spent during the VIPalm Beach shopping experience, resulting in a cumulative total of $10,000 to be donated to Loggerhead Marinelife Center (the non-profit education and ocean conservation facility that is globally recognized for its sea turtle hospital).
