Broadway on the BWay Recap

LLScene, The Eyes of a Boy, and Local Mom Scoop were all chosen as exclusive bloggers to cover Bloomingdale’s Broadway on the BWay event, which took place Wednesday, October 22 in the cosmetics department. All of the Bloomingdales employees were decked out in their broadway themed best educating guests on their newest products.

Throughout the afternoon, we sampled the best cosmetic products of the holiday season while sharing our own beauty secrets. We were thrilled to see one of our favorite companies, Onli Beverage as one of the drink sponsors of the day!

On top of all the product sampling and giveaways, we were able to get glam with the talented girls of Muse, A Hair Salon. Lindsey and Julia headed the beauty bar, where they styled hair for the bloggers and attendees of the event. They even gave short tutorials on how to use the much talked about ‘wand’ device for the perfect red carpet curls. Muse’s, Lindsey is the hair stylist responsible for successfully transforming LLScene co-founder, Lindsey’s hair from platinum blonde to brunette! Muse is located in East Boca with a team of stylists that can be unmatched in the industry.

One of our favorite products at the event would have to be Freeze 24/7 Skincare. We are all about anti-aging prevention at LLScene. One of their reps introduced us to their Instant Targeted Wrinkle Treatment, which instantaneously diminishes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, stretch marks and redness. He applied the cream to the lines on our hands, and within seconds they were gone.

Age prevention starts with the eyes, it’s all about the eyes. Freeze 24/7’s Anti-Aging Eye Serum banishes crow's-feet and eliminates fine lines and wrinkles, and dark circles and puffiness.

A lot of women suffer from skin discoloration due to the increase and decrease of hormones, along with the sun damage. Unfortunately, LLScene’s, Lindsey suffers from a mild case of melasma on her forehead. The women promoting Shiseido took a lot of time to educate us on the benefits of their skin brightening line. We really appreciated how real they were when explaining the process of skin brightening, “it’s not going to happen overnight, any company that tells you their product will help you overnight, is lying.” Shiseido’s White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener is a light, softening lotion, reformulated to hydrate skin for a dewy, radiant and even-toned look, which is exactly what Lindsey needs. Stay tuned on updates as to how this product has benefited her skin discoloration.

We all know how important it is to protect our skin from the sun and moisturize accordingly. Having SPF in your daily moisturizer is crucial, especially if you live in South Florida. Shiseido’s Ultimate Sun Protection SPF 50+ is a highly nourishing cream-formula sunscreen for the face with UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum Protection that defends against powerful rays that cause sunburn, cell damage, dryness, roughness and premature signs of aging such as fine lines.

We are so lucky to be invited to events like this, and call it our ‘job’. It is our goal to sample, review, and share the best products in the industry to eliminate the stress of searching for these products yourselves. We had a blast bonding with Melissa from The Eyes of a Boy and Heather from Local Mom Scoop at Bloomingdale’s Broadway on the BWay.
