As we mentioned last week, the Kentucky Derby is the fashion event we have been waiting our entire lives for. As you all know, we aren’t the traditional Derby girls, but as always, we are going to put a #SceneGirl style twist to it.
A lot of girls (and guys!) have been asking about what they should wear to our Derby Viewing Party this weekend - (deets below).
#SceneGirls, we highly suggest purchasing the hat, or headpiece, before deciding on a dress. Have fun with it, and take advantage of this ‘once a year’ fashion experience. After all, what’s a Kentucky Derby without a big floppy hat?
#SceneBoys, think bright colors, pastels, bow ties (please!), and searsucker. If you’re feeling up to a hat, a simple fedora will do. Our advice: think Chuck Bass.
