Austin's Blended Festival
Looking for something different on the Music Festival scale? Look no further than the Blended Festival coming to Austin on September 10th & 11th. What makes this music festival different from all the others? Well, we’re attending which makes it different because up until now you wouldn’t really see us frequent any kind of music festival so this one is clearly different. The Blended Festival is centered around food, music, and more importantly, WINE, and that is thanks to Executive Sommelier/ Director of Wine, Matthew-Lorèn Lindsey who also happens to be the face behind Blended Festival. I had the opportunity to meet him and his team at the Blended Festival Influencer Meet Up last week at the Parlor Room in Austin. Let us break it all down for you. The Blended Festival has a talent line up like a curated blend that everyone can enjoy. The main stage kicks off Friday, September 10th at 4 PM and Saturday, September 11th at 12 PM with local DJs and bands taking the stage during the earlier hours setting the mood for a wine-inspired “day drinking” concept. As the day progresses some of the biggest names in Country, Pop, and EDM will take the stage to compliment the overall Blended experience.
Another Blended “difference” is the wine tent as the centerpiece presented by My Wine Society. Two complimentary wine tastings will be given to ticket holders with the opportunity to upgrade to additional tastings as well. Celebrity Sommelier, Matthew-Lorèn Lindsey will be onsite to educate and answer all wine-related questions throughout the weekend with domestic and international wines present. Ticket holders are encouraged to download the MSW app to track the tastings digitally.
For the VIP experience, you will find a more intimate experience at The Maxim Village which is its own party within a party offering exclusive access for all VIP ticket holders. The village will feature a private bar, restrooms, and preferred viewing of the main stage. Table and bottle service are available upon request and reservations are encouraged as tables are limited. Every festival needs a wellness center and we are all about that. The Blended Festival has partnered with When The Music Stops (WTMS), a non-profit organization that works with today’s biggest artists and industry professionals to normalize mental health and burnout. WTMS will curate an exciting itinerary of workshops and activities throughout the day featuring speakers, breath-work, art therapy, exclusive meet and greets and so much more. They even have lounge massage options, IV drips, a water station, and a nap pod. Sign us up for the wellness tent.
